The commissioning of a portrait always takes place in close collaboration with the person portrayed and/or client. The process consists of an appointment in person during which details are discussed such as the position of the person being portrayed, size, clothing, color preferences, etc. Preference is given to a sketching session in which the person being portrayed poses (3 hours) after which photos are taken in the same position. If it is impossible to pose due to circumstances, we will work from the photo only.
